Back and Gone

The river was beautiful. We stayed at our own private little campsite at Ferguson Lake. Josh and I both want to go back sometime. Maybe earlier in the year when it's warmer and we can swim in the lake. Tomorrow we head back out to Reno for yet another year of putting City Ballet's Nutcracker in the biggest theatre in the WORLD. Wish us luck. I'll try to post pics as soon as i get the chance.

Finally some time OFF

Well it's been a rough couple of months and we got yet another tough few weeks ahead of us but until then Josh and I will be taking some brief time off for ourselves. We plan on disappearing to the river or some lake to do some fishing and absolutely well NOTHING. Wherever it is we will be away from life here. So enjoy your Thanksgiving and see you in December!

While You Were Out...

Someone in the office does not like Blue Raspberry Jolly Ranchers or Dum-Dums or lollipops. That someone is out of the office right now.



I would like to note that my boss suggested this.

Slow down that eating

Miss adorable little Bonnie has had a bit of an issue. She has been throwing up about once a week. It's clearish with some chunks of food. After doing some research and going to the vet the thought is she is eating too fast. So the vet suggested trying a special food dish that makes her eat slower or doing a $100 test to see if there is something wrong. Well of course I chose the dish. Well after doing some research the dish pretty much doesn't exist in most pet stores. You can only buy them online. So I thought I would try one of these:

It's called a Slim Cat. The idea is that you put food inside the ball and the cat has to move the ball around for the food to fall out. Well the first thing Josh thought of when I brought it home was that there would be food all over the floor so we put the two balls into a box. Well at first they just stared at the balls placed where their bowls of food used to be. Since then Clyde has figured it out. I'm not so sure about Bonnie. It does mean a bit more work for me as well since I have to by hand put food in each ball and lock them daily.

To Kat and Pete. They had a very small ceremony Friday the 13th in Mission Hills. After the simple and sweet ceremony we all headed over to Rainwaters for dinner. It was a nice evening with friends and family. Congratulations Kat and Pete!

A little bit of a break...

Ok, really I haven't been that busy this week but I've been trying to enjoy my evenings off, when I have them. I will have a blog about Zoe's baby shower and Kat's wedding at some point (both of which occur this week. For now enjoy some odd stories of the week.
